When a person is in a comfortable environment, he or she is more relaxed, and thus, a better photograph is the result. For this reason, Eidetic Photography works with you to find a location that provides the best environment for your image, whether that be your home, a favorite park, or my studio.
Before your session, we will discuss your vision for the photograph, or what you may want the photograph to capture. We will also discuss possible locations for your session, as well as other ways in which we can make the most of your time and create the best photograph.
During your session, which can typically run from 30 minutes up to 2 hours, I will try to make myself and, most importantly, my camera as unobtrusive as possible in order to capture the subject’s true spirit. As you can see from my portfolio, my style has a documentary flare, and I tend to shoot with natural, available light. Although I will do some posed shots, most of your session will have you and your family playing, talking, or doing whatever it is you enjoy, while I “observe.”
About two weeks after your session, we will arrange a time to meet to preview my artist’s pick from your session. This allows you the opportunity to view your images in greater detail and discuss ways in which you may display your images or, perhaps, give them as gifts. You can place your order at that time or within two weeks via an online gallery of your proof images. All orders must be placed within two weeks of the posting of your online gallery. After this time, your session images will be removed from the web site and archived. Orders are ready in approximately two weeks, and payment is due in full at the time of order placement. Susequent orders are more than welcomed, but require a $50 minimum.
